The Illini Bluffs girls basketball team’s season came to an end on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 after losing against Wethersfield for the first game of sectionals; the final score was 29-37. The girls has a successful season with a 21-11 record, winning both the Tomahawk and ICAC Conferences, as well as the Illini Central Regional Championship. This season, two sisters were the average point leaders, Chloe and Emerson, averaging 9.7 and 10 points respectively. They were followed by Anabelle, who averaged seven points per game, and the team’s lone senior Brenna, who averaged 5.9 points per game. Good job to the whole girls basketball team on an amazing season!
