Illini Bluffs High School celebrates its annual homecoming this weekend. The week began with spirit days and continued with the pep rally on Thursday, where Finley B. and Nadia P. were voted as freshman attendants; DeMae C. and Gavin B. were voted sophomore attendants; Hendrix S., Brysan S., Addi W. and Sydney M. were voted junior attendants; and Sam S., Grant C., Will E., Kelsey O., Alayna H. and Morgan D. were voted to be senior attendants of homecoming court. They were recognized again at the volleyball game that night and royalty will be announced at the dance tomorrow.
On Friday, classes participated in powderpuff and boys’ volleyball. The freshmen took fourth, the seniors took third, the sophomores took second and the juniors took first in girls’ football.
For volleyball, the freshmen placed last, the sophomores placed third, the juniors placed second and the seniors won.
